Armed Forces Day Open House at the Aberdeen Historical Museum Saturday, May 16, 10am-4pm We will feature our brand new exhibit "From Arrowheads to Artillery: The story of APG." Showcasing dozens of artifacts, photographs and maps, this exhibit spans several of our newly-opened rooms. Take a tour and learn from our knowledgeable museum staff. Peruse our popular library, which features hundreds of books of local historical interest, including Aberdeen High School Yearbooks dating back to 1938. Many thanks to our generous donors who sponsored a can of paint. So far, we have used 8 gallons and 4 quarts in 10 different colors on our walls and furniture. Your help in moving us closer to opening is making a big difference. Come see what it all looks like at our Open House from 10-4 on Saturday, May 16 during Aberdeen’s Armed Forces Day event.

Things are MOVING along nicely at the Aberdeen Historical Museum: Thompson Movers were on hand last week to help us move showcases and bookcases into place in preparation for our Armed Forces Day Open House on Saturday, May 16, from 10-4. Come and see what we look like now!

We are so excited about our new Museum space at 2 S. Rogers Street! We've been diligently working on a floor plan to fit our new home. We can't wait for you to see it at our Open House during Aberdeen's Armed Forces Day events! Come visit us on Saturday, May 16, 10 am - 4 pm.
