Alexandria Historical & Genealogical Library

Alexandria Historical & Genealogical Library Tuesday-Saturday
10 AM-4 PM AHGL works to preserve the heritage, history, and genealogy of the families who settled in Louisiana and neighboring states.

AHGL provides help and educational aid to researchers and the general public through workshops, lectures, and presentations to teach patrons how to use reference materials, resources, and the internet to restore and preserve their own genealogical materials and family lineages.
