The world’s largest and oldest currently functioning nonprofit cryptozoology museum is open year round. Ours is a public nonprofit museum, and appointments are not necessary. We are located at 32 Resurgam Place, Thompson’s Point, Portland, Maine 04102.

Thank you Inside Edition for coming to the Museum. Our assistant director had a fun interview with them. A 90 minute interview distilled down to 6 minutes, makes for some interesting storytelling. Lots of highlight on how hoaxing is part of the story and history of cryptozoology that we tell. Quite a timely topic with the release of the new Documentary on the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film, as usual we’ll let you decide what you make of that. Check out Chris’ whole interview at the link in the comments! Also we have live reptiles visiting the museum this Sunday (10/25) come check it out only in !

This Sunday (10/25) LIVE REPTILES and our friends from Serpent Sanctuary will be at the museum for a meet and greet! Come get ready for Halloween the best way - with cryptids and reptiles! The meet and greet will be free with museum admission but donations to support the serpents are appreciated! The will be offering Mini-relaxation serpent sessions on the massage table $30 for 30 minutes. See you at the Museum!
