Glass Art

I started designing fused glass when I was running my advertising and graphic design company for fun on the weekends. I fell in love with the medium. I am a color person and I cannot imagine colors more beautiful as those found in glass. So I started taking classes and decided to build a studio in my home so that I could work on my schedule. I then wanted to get into a gallery so I created a body of work and applied to The Waverly Street Gallery in 2014 and got juried into it! I also started teaching fused glass from my home studio. And then I found a few other galleries who were interested in showing and selling my work. I also enter several juried shows and this year won a juror’s award and cash from The Maryland Federation of Art Circle Gallery. I feel like I fell into this new part time career by accident. But a lucky accident. And I never stop learning about the medium of glass.
