We’re closing out the season with a bang! Here is the August lineup for Base Camp:

💦 Aug 3-7 | Splashtastic Grab your towel and dive in! We’re making waves with water experiments, pond and stream exploration, and the legendary Maggie Pond Regatta!

🥇 Aug 10-14 | Mountain Top Olympics Go for the gold at our 3rd annual Breck Olympiad! Campers dive into the world of sports and teamwork through thrilling games and epic challenges.

⭐ Aug 17-20 | Best Of* You voted, we listened! We’re bringing back the top activities from the last 10 weeks to celebrate the best of Summer 2026. Note: Camp ends Thursday (4-day week).

Sky-High Success! 🚀

What an incredible journey we took this week! Our "Up in the Skies" explorers truly embraced the adventure, rising to every occasion with brilliant ideas and a fantastic spirit of discovery.

We spent the week climbing through the layers of the atmosphere, starting with the mechanics of flight and the science of clouds before venturing into the far reaches of deep space. Between studying the moon, identifying constellations, and the excitement of our final rocket launches, these campers showed us that there are no limits to what they can learn! 🌌✨

A massive thank you to our phenomenal community partners for helping this mission take flight — it’s amazing what we can achieve together! .summit , ,

¡Qué viaje tan increíble tuvimos esta semana! Nuestros exploradores de "Up in the Skies" se sumergieron por completo en la aventura, enfrentando cada actividad con ideas brillantes y un espíritu de descubrimiento fantástico.

Pasamos la semana ascendiendo por las capas de la atmósfera, comenzando con la mecánica del vuelo y la ciencia de las nubes antes de aventurarnos en los confines del espacio profundo. Day 1 of Up in the Skies Camp = TAKEOFF! ✈️

We kicked off by designing and testing paper airplanes, uncovering engineering secrets from birds, tracking real air traffic in the skies, and soaking up all the sunshine 🌞

🏎️ July 13-17 | Mission: Motion Physics in action! As engineers, campers will explore flight, momentum, and gravity by building airplanes, rockets, and race cars.

🌲 July 20-24 | Rock On: Rangers! Master the wilderness! Become a Leave No Trace Ambassador while learning survival skills like shelter building, safety, and orienteering.

Dust off those boots because Mountain Top Explorium is teaming up with Far View Horse Rescue for a one-of-a-kind Summit Series Adventure!
Not your typical riding camp — campers join the rescue team, caring for animals, building confidence, and making muddy-boot memories along the way.

Dates: June 8–11 & August 10–13
Grades: 4–6
Mon–Thurs | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
➕ Optional Friday add-on at Base Camp

🦴 June 15-19 | Explorosaurus Stomp into the Mesozoic! Campers become paleontologists—unearthing fossils and dinosaur tracks.

🐻 June 22-26 | Colorado Creatures Lions, pikas, and bears! We’re stepping into the paws of local wildlife to see how they survive in the Rockies.

🏔️ June 29-July 3 | Rivers, Rocks & Mountain Tops Take exploration to new heights! Discover how life changes from rivers to peaks through hands-on geology and mountain ecology.
