👀✨The World War II Lookout Tower is now open Friday through Monday from 11 AM to 3 PM—perfect for a weekend adventure! Starting May 1st, we’ll be open 7 days a week, so you’ll have even more chances to climb up and experience this unique landmark.

⚓️Fun Fact- The World War II Lookout Tower has a twin!

DID YOU KNOW!?…🤔☺️

The Grand Hotel of Cape May is built around one of the two surviving World War II Watch Towers in Cape May!!!
In 1942 shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, The Grand’s Fire Tower #24 was built. Originally meant to be used as an auxiliary tower, they later found it was most useful as a look out tower for German on-shore attacks, and watching for submarines. Cape May County played a huge role in World War II, along with the Delaware Bay.

FUN FACT!!😁:
3 of our newly renovated guest rooms actually have a curved wall due to being built directly around the tower!
