Open House - 1-4 pm June 7th the first Sunday of the month.
We have beautiful weather this weekend...come join us!
Visit the historic Homestead Acre, the Hill Palmer homestead and the Virginia Watson Chatsworth Museum. Learn the history of our community.
Visit our gardens that include over 16 types of fruit trees and beautiful roses.
Come learn about Chatsworth History on the historic property originally homesteaded by Rhoda and James Hill. Minnie Hill Palmer, born on the homestead in 1886 raised her own family in the cottage. Current museum photo displays include moving of the Pioneer Church.

Chatsworth Historical Society General Meeting Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 6:30pm

Please join us for the history of the Bells of El Camino Real, which includes a 31-minute episode of
Huell Howser discussing the bells, showing the foundry and how the bells were made.
We will also show that once Mission San Fernando was completed in 1797, the El Camino Real route went through Chatsworth.

The Program will be available at the Homestead Acre and on Zoom. It will be an in-person and Zoom meeting.

There will be a question and answer session after the presentation.

The program will not be recorded to post, but the powerpoint presentation and links will be added to
