Happy birthday to the Queen of Broadway, Idina Menzel! In 2004 Idina won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her iconic performance as Elphaba in Stephen Schwartz's musical Wicked.

Visit All Things Oz to see a lobby card autographed by Idina and the rest of the original Broadway cast.

It's a Wonderful Wednesday!

Have you seen our first edition, first state of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz? Not only is it a rare binding, but it came directly from the Baum family. This special piece was donated a year ago by Bob and Clare Baum. Bob was the great-grandson of author L. Frank Baum.

We cannot wait to celebrate this enduring story and L. Frank Baum's legacy at our 49th annual Oz-Stravaganza! We're gearing up for a great weekend June 5th through June 7th! There will be artists, authors, fireworks, live music, special guests, a costume contest, autograph signings, and so much more!

Happy birthday to Fairuza Balk, who played Dorothy in Disney's 1985 movie, Return to Oz.

Fairuza's Dorothy was closer in age to Baum's version, and the film was loosely based on a mashup of the second and third books, The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz.
