MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY
JOHNSON COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION
We had a poster in our lobby stating Military Appreciation Day would be on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 4pm to 9pm. We were informed today that the date has been changed due to predicted rain for this Saturday. The flyer below has the updated information.

SALUTE CONCERT THIS FRIDAY AT 7PM
AT COLUMBUS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
Tour the museum and C-119 for free before the concert.
Your donations, no matter how small, help us maintain
the museum and C-119 so they can be enjoyed by future
generations.

With Memorial Day fast approaching, what a good time to honor a friend or family member with a commemorative brick. Your brick will be on permanent display at the museum space near the C-119.

If my post works out correctly, you should be able to download an order form. If it DOESN'T work out correctly, call the museum or stop by to fill out an order form. You can also visit the memorial bricks at any time!

WHAT'S INSIDE THE C-119?
Come see for yourself this Saturday, April 11 between 10am and 1pm. Admission is free, however, your donations are appreciated and help us maintain this display. While you're there, visit the museum across the street which also has free admission.

T-SHIRT SALE
We're closing out the popular Charlie 119 T-Shirts. There are only a few small and medium size shirts left and for $5.00 each, it's a great deal. When they're gone, they're gone.

SEE WHAT OUR FAIRCHILD C-119 LOOKS LIKE ON THE INSIDE THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 14 FROM 10AM TO 1PM. ADMISSION IS FREE BUT DONATIONS ARE GLADLY ACCEPTED TO HELP MAINTAIN THIS LOCAL LANDMARK.

The Atterbury-Bakalar Air Museum has reopened for the 2026 season. Stop by and see the many changes that our volunteers have made over the winter.

The museum is open on Thursday - Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Admission is free (donations accepted).
