Based on forecasted improvements in air quality, we are pleased to announce that Greenfield Village and Ford Rouge Factory Tour will reopen tomorrow, Saturday, July 18.

However, some programming has been adjusted:
◼️ Historic Base Ball in Greenfield Village is cancelled for Saturday, July 18
◼️ Cars & Caffeine, driven by Hagerty, in the shuttle parking lot is cancelled for Saturday, July 18

⛔ Due to continued hazardous air quality resulting from the Canadian wildfire smoke, Greenfield Village and Ford Rouge Factory Tour will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, July 17, to protect the health and safety of our guests and team members.

All other public venues at The Henry Ford remain open and will operate on their normal schedules, including:
◼️ Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, including the Freedom Plane exhibit
◼️ Giant Screen Experience

Due to high demand, The Henry Ford is releasing a limited number of additional reservations for “Freedom Plane National Tour: The Documents That Forged a Nation.”

📜 Extended reservations are now available July 20-26. Guests can reserve select times for this free exhibition at THF.org/FreedomPlane.

As one of just eight host sites for these founding-era documents, and the second-to-last stop on the national tour, we are honored to provide this additional opportunity to visit the exhibition as we continue commemorating America’s 250th anniversary.

“Freedom Plane National Tour: The Documents That Forged a Nation” is locally presented by Meijer.
