Experience the magic of the season at Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village, presented by KeyBank, where more than 80 acres of wonder come to life with bustling yuletide cheer.

NEW in 2026! Step inside the Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson Home, where Christmas 1965 comes to life through period decorations, presenters in period attire and holiday cooking demonstrations. Outside, see the first Greenfield Village home to feature exterior Christmas lights.

Make your evening even more memorable with premium dining packages, including Supper with Santa, Holiday Nights at Eagle Tavern and the return of Mummers’ Dinner at Stand 44 for guests 21 and older. Members can also add the convenient Members-Only Eagle Lane Shuttle to their evening.

Free registration is now open for our author talk with David Treuer (Leech Lake Ojibwe), “The Savage Mind: Reckoning With the History of American Violence and Native Futures.”

Drawing from memoir, history and journalism, Treuer will reflect on how Americans might make sense of a country shaped by violence while also searching for ways to hold ourselves, our families and our communities together.

The program will take place at 2 p.m. on November 7 in Anderson Theater at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. A brief audience Q&A and book signing will follow, with the opportunity to purchase "The Savage Mind: An American Legacy.”

The witches are back! Join us at Giant Screen Experience on October 23 and 24 at 7 p.m. for special showings of the original “Hocus Pocus.”

Each showing of the movie will include a costume contest and movie trivia with prizes for the winners. Put on your witch’s hats and thinking caps for this spooky night of fun!

In this kitchen, Richie Jean Sherrod Jackson worked tirelessly to feed a movement. During the 1965 Voting Rights Movement, the Jacksons opened their home as a place for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and dozens of other leaders to rest, recuperate and strategize. Through her hospitality, Richie Jean helped sustain the people who would shape the Selma to Montgomery marches and the Voting Rights Act.

Tickets are still available! Award-winning chef, restaurateur and author Tanya Holland joins WDET 101.9FM’s Ann Delisi for “Beyond the Plate” at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation from 6 to 9 p.m.

Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres, live music from Spin Inc. Detroit and a cash bar during cocktail hour, followed by an onstage conversation and live cooking demonstration.
