Something new is headed to our Building 1. Zoo Atlanta donated the loco to us last year. Ken & Bill (pictured) of our Park Train, and Ora, put the engine back together with some modifications for the kids. It will be a static display and a neat place for photos with the young at heart. The move date is TBD, but we thought you should know.

The Woodworkers Guild of Georgia has been helping us with a variety of projects. We suggested we'd like to paint our gazebos. Before we knew it, Andy had 'em prepped for renewal. Our volunteers addressed the painting with style. Ken G., Bill B., Ora B., Jim K., Bill P., Marchet & Peter B., Denise B., and Steve S. invested days and days into the project. We couldn't be happier with the results. Our volunteers are the best.

You don't need to know how to run trains to volunteer with our Museum, but we'll train you if you want to learn. Want to get out of the house? Need to master a few skills? We encourage you to visit our website and join us as a volunteer. Fringe benefits ;)? Free parking, water, coffee, great people, fresh air, getting your steps in, shared skills, with the bottom line being the smiles shared by our guests.
