Artists and owners George Averbeck and Holly Gramm are both long time Flagstaff residents. Arizona Handmade Gallery is linked with Fire on the Mountain glass studio, creating both a showroom for George's blown glass creations, as well as an outlet for over 60 Arizona artists to display and sell their handmade works.⁠

This ArtWalk, join us at Open Doors: Art in Action for the final reception of "Art for Social Justice: Voices Unheard."⁠

Open Doors: Art in Action is a nonprofit art gallery in Flagstaff, located in the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. The current exhibition is a collection of murals created by NAU students. It promotes inclusion, challenges oppression, and focuses on social change by amplifying marginalized voices.⁠
⁠
Refreshments will be served from 6–7pm, accompanied by music from Wild Irish Fiddle. At 7pm, NAU artist and teaching assistant Brianna Cardenas will be present a talk about the murals.⁠

ArtWalk TONIGHT! 🧡🎨⁠

Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk is a monthly celebration of creativity that brings downtown to life. Artist studios, galleries, shops, restaurants, and local venues open their doors in the evening, showcasing a diverse mix of art — from painting and photography to ceramics and jewelry.⁠
⁠
In addition, Center 2 Center is a community bike ride from Coconino Center for the Arts to Heritage Square starting at 4pm, followed by the Pollinator Parade ARTx at 5pm and Baby Moth performing live in the square at 7pm.⁠

Plus Heritage Square pop-ups including Flagstaff Pride!⁠
⁠

Community Bike Ride! ⁠Get ready for Center 2 Center!!!⁠

On Friday, June 5, meet at Coconino Center for the Arts at 4 PM for free Timberline Ice Cream, then ride to Heritage Square at 5 PM for Car-Free First Friday ArtWalk! ⁠
⁠
Be prepared with layers, lights, and helmets, and bring a friend for some two-wheeled fun! This is a party-pace, family-friendly, ride-at-your-own-risk community ride, and we hope you can attend.⁠

This May-October 1st Friday ArtWalks will be street closure events, allowing Aspen Street to fill with artistic activations! You can look forward to music, performances, interactive installations, youth activities, and many other creative displays. ⁠

Gearing up for another Car Free Art Walk!

On the first Friday of every month, artist studios, galleries, shops, restaurants, and local venues in downtown Flagstaff open their doors in the evening, showcasing a diverse mix of art.

A great FREE way to explore downtown and experience local art!⁠ Next Art Walk will be Friday, June 5th. Aspen St. from Leroux to San Francisco will be closed to cars for the event.

Join us for the Pollinator Parade on June 5th! 🐝🌷
⁠
Momentum Aerial will be marching through downtown, led by stilt walkers and drummers! Participate in the parade, then enjoy their dance and aerial performance in Heritage Square afterward. ✨
⁠
Parade attendees should plan to gather downtown at Heritage Square at 4:45 pm on Friday, June 5. The parade will be short and sweet, looping back to Heritage Square by about 5:30 pm for the start of the show! This is a Car-Free event! Aspen St. from Leroux to San Francisco will be closed to cars for the event.

Dress up and join the fun! This is an ARTx project, proudly presented by Creative Flagstaff.
