We are getting ready for the April Swap and Sale. The sale at the museum will contain Franklin/Sterling Classics as well as different collectibles. Come check it out. Hours will be Friday, April 24, 11-330, Saturday, April 25, 10-4, Sunday, April 26, 11-4.

Ok, this is not an April Fool's joke! WE OPEN TOMORROW FOR THE 2026 SEASON! Please come and check out the newly renovated lobby. The museum will be closed on Sunday, however, for Easter. Also, there are still spots available for the Millsite Dig and to reserve a table at the Sale on April 25th. Please check out our new website where you can register for all of the above and renew your museum membership.

Date and Time: 4/25/2026 from 9am-5pm

New Location: Franklin Firehouse (Parking Lot)

Below is the registration form for the 2026 April Swap & Sell held at Franklin Firehouse (Parking Lot) on 4/25/2026. Please make sure it is returned by the due date of April 11, 2026, to ensure your spot! The fee for the show is $50.00, which will be collected in cash on the day of the show. A copy of this form will be sent to your email upon completion and will act as your confirmation.

Vendors will have to move their vehicles upon final set-up to the Parking Lot of Fireman's Memorial Park - which will be directly across the street from the parking lot - we just will not have enough room for folks to leave their vehicles behind their spots. (also, the Park is where the Food concession will be.)

We hit the ground running! Our plan to update the lobby has begun. We emptied the entire lobby and adjacent hallways. Next is old tile removal. Then a new floor and painting.

Tomorrow is our last day of the season. We will be closing the Buckwheat Dump at 3 PM for collecting. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful winter. See you in April!
