The Tile Heritage Foundation, founded in 1987 as a member supported, nonprofit, charitable, organization dedicated to promoting an awareness and appreciation of ceramic surfaces in the United States. Tile Heritage maintains Archives & Collections, publishes information about historic and contemporary tiles, provides links to artisans through our Member Gallery and is a conduit for clay education f

or teachers and the community through our website. As we expand and remodel our existing world, increasing numbers of old tiles as well as architectural terra cotta and mosaic facades are torn away, thoughtlessly discarded and lost forever. Join in the historic venture to unearth the ceramic traditions that beautify our homes and urban centers today. Participate in playing a vital role in stimulating public appreciation and support for our national ceramic treasure. Invest in preserving one of America's most permanent, yet vulnerable, artistic traditions. Why should we care about the fate of ceramic surfaces in America? Because we are all a part of the tradition; this is our heritage.

Thank you ALL for your AMAZING SUPPORT. We reached the $50,000 GOAL of FUNDING the THF "MOVE" to South Carolina
THF TILE COLLECTION and ARCHIVES HAVE MOVED to A NEW HOME relocated this past week in proximity to Tile Council of North America (TCNA) in Anderson, South Carolina. The Foundation will remain an independent nonprofit organization in its new location. The offices and management for Tile Heritage will remain in California for the present time. https://conta.cc/4nrs4tP
