Three years ago in March I started ‘Catie Lehman Art & Design’ ❤️ It was a very vulnerable decision after years of printmaking for just myself.

My life looks very different than it did 3 years ago, and will likely look very different 3 years from now! I live in a different home, have a different job, do art in a home studio instead of my kitchen table (except sometimes I still prefer the kitchen table!) I make better art, I’ve grown as an artist and as a person, and have so much more to learn.

I love printmaking - somedays I feel like I’m stuck and it doesn’t love me back. But we usually make up and come back to each other;)

Being an artist is hard. Monetizing what brings you joy is hard. Paying taxes on your creativity sucks lol. But it’s also the greatest teacher I’ve ever had, has pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, and brings me more fulfillment than any other life experience thus far. It brings me closer to who I am and I am so grateful. Thanks for supporting me 🪐
