“Carolina Sunshine” and its reverse, “Franz Liszt Original Works and Transcriptions for the Piano,” are finished in an ornate champagne molding to reflect their era.

They are float-mounted with French matting to preserve their character and enhance their presence.

Our friends at Needle House brought us these precious Oaxaca needlepoint dresses to frame. They also had these adorable painted hangers, so we added dollhouse hooks to hang the dresses on. We also wrapped the hanger hooks with ribbon to match each dress. The mounting board and sides were covered in an optic white linen fabric. For frames, we love these dainty flowers on this Bella moulding. We wrapped each flower frame with a simple lacquered frame from Fotiou in its matching color. Lastly we made easel backs so that the frames can sit on a table. These are just precious!

A client brought their grandmother’s precious tea cup and plates. We wanted to make sure we saw all the pretty details of the tea cup so we created a sink mount, but built it up at the top of the cup so it holds at an angle. This way you can see the flowers on the inside and outside the cup while it hung. We lined the backboard and sides with silk fabric to create a beautiful shadow box. The items were framed in a white pine and gold frame from Larson-Juhl.

You can’t tell, but a lot of planning and time goes into framing a massive 48-star American Flag. The flag had to be pressed and hand sewed down. We made sure the stitches are invisible, but they kept the flag really flat without creating any ripples. The tassels were strategically placed and also sewed down. A fabric backboard and liners were created to shadow box the flag and everything gets fitted perfectly into a black and silver AMPF Moulding custom frame. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor all who fought and died while serving the US Armed Forces.
