Join Ulster County Historian Eddie Moran for a fascinating visual presentation uncovering the presence and experiences of Native American individuals recorded in the mid-18th-century account books of Louis Bevier Jr. These rare records highlight the interactions between the Esopus people and the Bevier family on the very site of today’s Bevier House Museum.

Through these accounts, we gain valuable insight into colonial-era life, Native-European relations, and the enduring history of the Esopus people in the Rondout Valley. A Q&A session will follow the talk.
