This week, our upcoming Sunday Salon presenter, Glenn Kreisberg, joined WAMC Northeast Public Radio's Vox Pop to discuss the fascinating history of Freemasonry, esoteric traditions, and early America.
Now you have the opportunity to hear even more as Glenn presents "Brotherhoods of the New World: Freemasonry, Immigration, and the Making of Early America" this Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 PM at the Bevier House Museum.
Drawing on years of research into the Hudson Valley's archaeology, landscape history, and early American traditions, Glenn will explore how Freemasonry helped shape immigrant communities, civic life, and the development of Ulster County and the young United States—including the remarkable story of Robert R. Livingston, the Ulster County native who administered George Washington's first presidential oath.
