Historic Arkansas Museum is home to a historic city block including the oldest building in Little Rock, an 1850's Farmstead, galleries of Arkansas-made art and history ranging from indigenous Arkansans to contemporary artists and artisans. Call if you have questions.*

Tens of thousands of Arkansans and tourists enter our doors each year — including thousands of schoolchildren — and are welcomed i

nto a world where the past is alive. Here, they connect with actual objects and hear real, first-person stories of Arkansas’s early days. They step into a house where trappers, boatmen and surveyors passed through; or into an exhibit that explores the bowie knife and its Arkansas connection. General Information
