Nash Museum at Chucalissa, a division of the University of Memphis, is to protect and interpret the Chucalissa archaeological site’s cultural and natural environments, and to provide the University Community and the public with exceptional educational, participatory, and research opportunities on the landscape’s past and present Native American and traditional cultures.

Today is International Archaeology Day! Admission is free for everyone so come join us for activities centered on archaeology, geology, and history!

From 10-2pm we'll be joined by community partners from the Memphis Public Library, TN Choctaw Development Club, UofM Department of Earth Sciences, the Institute for Egyptian Art and Archaeology, the Shelby County Historical Society, Memphis Astronomical Society, and others!
