This is a behind-the-scenes snapshot of Ryan Pino (a descendant of Chang Bunker) and the late Kester Sink. Ryan had come to Mount Airy to meet with Kester at Hollyview Farm, the location of Chang Bunker's home in Mount Airy, to film a series of videos discussing the historical, religious, and cultural significance of the twins.

The footage has since been compiled into one of the audio-visual stations available for viewing here at the Siamese Twins Museum! Be sure to check it out next time you visit us!

Ryan Pino is a lecturer at Boston College with interests in comparative theology and philosophy, Chinese Christian history and theology, Chinese religious and philosophical traditions, and US-China relations.

The original Siamese Twins, Chang and Eng Bunker, settled down and raised a family in Mount Airy, North Carolina, just before the American Civil War. Many of their descendants still live in the area, including one who developed a museum dedicated to telling their story.
