Jaiik Lee treats us to a sit-down interview and a close look at his work, diving into the development of his one-of-a-kind technique, years working as a designer, unexpected choice of material, and the ideas his vessels convey. They essence of change and transformation as they fill the exhibition space with “the energy of life,” and “a quiet sense of hope.”

In Jaiik’s own words, “I don’t see the vessels as simple objects. But they are not exactly bodies either. They borrow the shape of a vessel, but they are closer to living beings.”
