In 1990 six men and women decided to open a new art gallery at the corner of Spring and Bull Streets in Newport,RI. Since moving to 55 Bellevue Avenue in December 1994, the cooperative has grown to include 17 artists eExhibiting a wide variety of styles and disciplines. Introducing Deborah Weiss as our Visiting Artist, now through end of June.
Bio: Deborah Weiss is a painter and printmaker. Her work explores the natural world through the lens of environmental influences and personal reflection. She has exhibited throughout the United States. Her work has been exhibited internationally in China, Sweden, Italy and Denmark. Weiss’ work is also included in numerous private and public collections. She was born in New York and maintains a studio and residence in southern New England.
