Applications are now open for Engage Forward: 21st Century Museum Professionals LEAD (Leadership, Engagement, Advocacy, and Development)! This two-day virtual institute, presented by the Oklahoma Museums Association and the Mountain-Plains Museums Association, will take place February 2-3, 2027.

Designed for new and emerging leaders at small and mid-sized museums, Engage Forward will bring together a cohort of 30 museum professionals from across the MPMA region for engaging professional development focused on Leadership, Engagement, Advocacy, and Development.
Eligible participants must work in one of the ten MPMA states: Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, or Montana.
