Needless to say, this weekend was a smash hit! Our creative community came together to support our chalk artists in the rain and in the sun. Visiting Artist Katie Bush chalked the most amazing Quad Cities catfish. What a celebration of creativity--This is exactly why Quad City Arts started Chalk Fest ten years ago! ❤

These banners in Arts Alley look great! What a way to commemorate 10 years of Chalk Fest. To all of the artists and volunteers who have participated over the years, we want to celebrate you. The chalk drawings may wash away in the rain, but your work makes a lasting impact ❤

Tonight's the night! ⭐

Visiting Artist Katie Bush is leading her 3D Chalk Drawing Masterclass 6-8PM at Quad City Arts. Participants will then move outside to take their technique to the concrete!

🎉 In addition to Katie's Masterclass, join the rest of the Kick-Off festivities in Arts Alley! We'll have live music from Lojo Russo, food from the LaFlama Food Truck, beverages from our neighbors at The Iconic, and a FREE Chalk Zone to celebrate 10 years of Chalk Art! Plus, artists registered for the Fest can come on down for early check in!

So come on down ready to make some art as we toast a decade of Rockin' the Chalk! 🎸
