Happy Bicycle Day to all! No better day than today to share this remix of my bicycle day tribute pendant from last year! I'm so proud of us humans and how many weird creative routes we've unlocked in the 83 years since Dr. Albert Hofmann became the first human to intentionally ingest L*D, his 'problem child' created in the labs of Sandoz in Basel, Switzerland. There's way too much lore and interesting tidbits about his bike ride home from the lab that day and the subsequent decades of his peculiar discovery's impact on modern society and culture, in both obviously direct ways and in very subtle connect-the-dots borderline conspiracy ways to squeeze into one caption! Highly recommend doing some reading/research into it if this post piques your curiosity in the slightest.
