This early 1930's toaster is one of the widely sought after pieces of Art Deco history. It is made of chrome plated metal with bakelite handles on top of a bakelite base with the ornamentation showing angled geometric corners surrounding a leaping gazelle. The design was done by Raymond Patten for the Edison General Electric Company, who sold it under their brand subsidiary Hotpoint.
