"I translated scientific concepts into impressionistic underwater worlds — blending visual effects with creative alchemy to bring the strange and beautiful creatures of this hidden realm to life." -Emmett Feldman, Lead Artist

In 2024, collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (https://www.facebook.com/WoodsHoleOcean/ ), Twilight Zone plunged you into the mysterious depths of the ocean to discover the enchanting world of bioluminescence and interconnectedness of marine life🐙

Using sound, texture, shape, and imaginative elements to evoke emotions and a sense of wonder, we appreciate science as our superpower and bring the beauty and mystery of the ocean into focus🌊

Partnerships with leading institutions like this are an important part of what ARTECHOUSE strives to achieve.

In 2020, Future Sketches, Zach Lieberman's (https://www.facebook.com/zach.lieberman.96/) first solo exhibition in Washington, DC, blurred the boundaries between visible and invisible to inspire new, innovative ways of thinking about what it means to be human.

As one of the pioneering artists working at the intersection of creative coding and visual art, Zach's work helped shape conversations around what digital art could be, and continues to inspire artists around the world today.

In 2020, ARTECHOUSE DC premiered Future Sketches, a groundbreaking solo exhibition by digital artist Zach Lieberman (https://www.facebook.com/zach.lieberman.96/) that invited you to step inside a world where simple drawings transformed into living, interactive experiences.

Blending art, code, and imagination, Future Sketches showcased Lieberman’s signature approach to creative technology—turning lines, shapes, and gestures into playful works that responded to movement and participation.

The exhibition explored how technology can be used not as a tool for automation, but as a medium for human expression and wonder.

From interactive installations to immersive projections, Future Sketches offered a glimpse into the future of creative storytelling and became one of our most memorable exhibitions of 2020.

As we look back on ARTECHOUSE DC’s history, we’re reminded of the artists who helped redefine what digital art can be.

“Technology should always be in service of the idea. The idea should be something that is poetic or that tells us about what it means to be human” - Zach Lieberman
