DC Arts Studios is an arts incubator providing work spaces for artists of all disciplines, creative agencies, and arts organizations. We also provide exhibition opportunities and professional support, and we foster connections between our working artists so that they can collaborate and grow in their practice.

NEW CLASS! Slow down with some fabric, thread, and embellishments this fall. You will have the freedom to experiment with texture and lines, without the pressure of doing it the “right” way. Relax into the rhythm of hand stitching, and let its meditative quality become your new practice.

No sewing experience needed — you will learn simple stitches in the first session and use them throughout the class. All materials provided. Taught by the brilliant Jacqueline Bryant Campbell

If you know New Orleans, you know why getting your very own glitter shoe from Mary is a Big Deal. This colorful piece, currently available in our silent auction, is inspired by the delicious confectionery delights of Paris.

Mary Tran is a sculptural glitter shoe artist based in Silver Spring, MD. She is a member of DC Arts Studios where she creates pieces based on her travels and the influence around her.

One of the pieces available in our silent auction is this beautiful mixed media piece by artist Hilary Schenker. Acrylic, charcoal and mixed media on paper; 2021; Matted and framed in solid wood 10” x 22” frame.

This loose, playful piece is inspired by satellite photos of deep space nebulas and will bring a touch of mystery and wonder to your home.
