The America 250 garden installations won’t be around forever—and this Garden Walk is your final chance to see them with a guide.

Join Director of Horticulture Jamie Burghardt on Thursday, September 10, for a 90-minute stroll through the gardens and a closer look at the stories behind this year’s displays. Along the way, you’ll discover how Chicago’s 1893 World’s Fair helped shape everyday Americana and inspired elements of Cantigny’s gardens today.

Looking for a fun way to spend a morning with your little one? We’ve got a song or two for that.

Make beautiful music and memories with your little one(s) at our upcoming Wee Heart Music Together Outdoor Family Class! This nine week program is the best way to grow and learn through music and dance.

We offer a discount for siblings, and siblings 9 months and under are FREE! Registration fee includes class sessions and materials for at-home listening and play. Families should bring a blanket to sit on — classes take place in a grassy area adjacent to the Rock Garden.

Join us for a 45-minute guided walking tour to learn why Cantigny exists, who Robert R. McCormick was, how the First Division Museum came to be here, and plenty more. Along the way, your guide will point out some favorite spots and share stories about the people and history that shaped the park.

Close out the Sounds of Summer season with Second Hand News, a Chicago-based Fleetwood Mac tribute bringing the music of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and Christine McVie to the Military Tank Park.

Expect the hits, a few favorites for the superfans, and plenty of reasons to stay on your feet. Grab dinner or a drink from the Beer Garden or Café, find a spot in the park, and settle in for one last summer Saturday evening with live music.

Ready to shake things up a little? Join us for Lake & Grain, the next stop in Cantigny’s Sips Around the States cocktail series! On Thursday, September 3, we’re heading to the Midwest, with cocktails inspired by Chicago taverns, Wisconsin supper clubs and the wide-open landscapes of Iowa. Cantigny mixologists will lead this hands-on class, sharing the flavors, spirits and techniques behind each drink.

Your $75 ticket includes two cocktails and small bites, with tax and service fee included. We’ll be gathering in the North Scallop Garden at 6 pm.

If a cocktail class in the garden sounds like your kind of evening, don’t wait to register. Spots are limited, and this one’s worth raising a glass to.
