๐Ÿ‹ This week, the vibrant creations of guest artists Hannah Fridholm & Lisa J. Mullikin are making a splash! These recent arrivals celebrate our connections to our environments through striking textures, moving expressions, and immersive settings. Hannah uses clay as a medium to embody the innate transformation and impermanence we experience. Meanwhile, painter & architect Lisa J. Mullikin uses oils to reflect the transitions between light and shadow, past and present. ๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ

Explore their exhibit, "Desire Path," with us for one more week! Hannah & Lisa's fantastic artworks will be featured through Sunday, June 7th both in-person and online, alongside continuously refreshed works by our local gallery artists. Or, stay tuned for our upcoming exhibit with landscape painter Joanne Geisel, "Perspectives"! ๐ŸŒ…

๐Ÿƒ Gallery artist & instructor Joanne Geisel is envisioning nature through new perspectives! Joanne uses oil paints to capture our Carolina coastlines, working from her photos or life to authentically render each scene. Now, alongside her impressionist landscapes, view expressive scenes from Joanneโ€™s imagination, using abstract colors and sweeping curves to visualize natural motions. Says Joanne:

"My goal is always to create an oil painting that I consider beautiful and shows my deep connection to nature, whether it is a landscape or an abstracted version of one."

Join us in the gallery on Sunday, June 14th, 2-5pm for our Artist Reception celebrating โ€œPerspectives.โ€ Enjoy special refreshments, meet our artists, and enjoy live music by guitarist Miles Moore! This exhibit will run through July 26 alongside new of works by our gallery artists. ๐ŸŽจ

Featured artists Lisa J. Mullikin & Hannah Fridholm express our connections to life, nature, and environments through their exhibit, "Desire Path"! The title references the paths organically carved into the earth by human or animal steps. Through Lisa's paintings & Hannah's sculptures, follow reaching vines, outstretched branches, and the entrancing relationships between quiet figures and the wildlife they're surrounded by. ๐Ÿพ

Since our recent Opening Reception, we've freshened our gallery selection with new works by Lisa, Hannah, and a few of our 30+ local gallery artists! Join us at 970 Inspiration Drive to trail through our artists' ever evolving approaches. ๐Ÿ
