BIG NEWS: For one day only, Digital Dome shows are FREE with museum admission or membership during FREE Dome Fest this Saturday, June 27!

Seating is limited for each experience. Reserve your seats online. Theater opens for guests with reservations 15 minutes before showtime. Any unclaimed seats will be released to walk-up guests 5 minutes before each show.

Cost should never stand in the way of curiosity.

That's why Kaleideum participates in Museums for All, a national initiative that helps make museum experiences more accessible for families. Through the program, guests with an EBT, WIC, or Second Harvest Food Bank Link2Feed card can visit Kaleideum for just $3 per person.

During Fiscal Year 2024–25, Kaleideum welcomed 25,889 visits through Museums for All, representing a $271,835 investment in opening the door to hands-on learning, discovery, and play for more of our community's children and families.

Behind every one of those visits is a child discovering something new, a family learning together, or a moment that opens the door to new interests, new ideas, and new possibilities.

Because every child should experience where learning and fun collide.

Exceptional Night at the Museum is back with summer fun for the whole family! ☀️

This sensory-friendly evening features a rooftop bubble dance party, water play in Wonders of Water, summer art, and exciting games.

Supported by ABC of NC and Felice Brenner, Exceptional Night at the Museum admission is Give What You Can. Families are invited to make a donation to support Kaleideum’s inclusive programming.

Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Observed each year on June 14, Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the American flag by the Continental Congress in 1777. As we look ahead to America's 250th anniversary in 2026, it's a fitting time to celebrate the values of service, community, and opportunity that continue to unite us.

Kaleideum is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museums program, offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families all summer long. In fiscal year 2024-25, more than 2500 visitors have visited through the Blue Star Museums program.

Military families are invited to explore, play, discover, and make memories with us. Thank you for your service, and thank you for being part of our community.

Listen to live music from the Allyn Raney Trio, create a summer-inspired suncatcher in the Try It! Studio, add a little sparkle at the Glitter Bar, or get henna art from Buena Henna. As the sun sets, head into the Digital Dome Theater for Astronomical Trivia and Star Tours.
