Fondation CAB BRUSSELS is delighted to welcome French artist Quentin Lefranc (b. 1987, Tours) for a short project residency in October. Working across sculpture, drawing, writing and video, Lefranc explores the relationship between body, movement and architecture, creating works in dialogue with the spaces in which they are presented. During his residency, he will present his video Floor drawing.

A new acquisition for the Fondation CAB collection: Louis Cane.

The work joins the Foundation’s curated selection at Clos du Père François, bringing Cane’s exploration of colour, material and surface into the heart of the home.

Our warm thanks to Florence Cane, the artist’s daughter, for her support.

Les Maisons CAB Saint-Paul-de-Vence

A key figure in the Supports/Surfaces movement, Cane explored painting through its fundamental elements: colour, material, support and surface. His work opened new ways of considering how painting inhabits space.
