We had the pleasure of working with eight students from SGS Queen’s Road, who helped facilitate the Get Future Ready event hosted at SGS College.

We began the session by exploring the importance of networking and teamwork, using objects from the Collection to spark discussion and develop key employability skills. The students then worked with small groups across the campus, confidently leading around eight interactive activities designed to help participants develop skills, gain experiences and explore opportunities that will support their future careers.

Throughout the event, they demonstrated excellent communication, leadership and enthusiasm, helping to create an engaging and successful experience for everyone involved.

Finnish Design: Myths & Moomins is on now. Original Moomin figurines and mugs, on loan from Moomin Characters, sit alongside a new exhibition on the nature, mythology and folklore behind Finnish modernist design.
