We are excited to announce that we have recently received funding from Creative Scotland to run our latest programme of exhibitions from 2025 into 2026.

Many thanks to all the people who worked with us during the application process for their time and generosity. We look forward to working alongside the following list of artists over the next year;

OPENING TODAY!
Join us from 4-8pm today at GPS for the opening of ‘Cinnamon Shops’, a solo exhibition of new works by Magda Blasinska.
Constructed around the theme of wheat, the exhibition focuses on sensory world building where sight, touch, smell and taste are triggered through the cross-pollinating languages of wheat sculpture and intimately-scaled paintings.
The exhibition title refers to Bruno Schultz's interlaced collection of short stories, which share the sensory world and magic realism aspects within Magda’s work.
The exhibition follows a two week residency at Govan Project Space and a year of preparation used to explore the languages of ancient and endangered craft; working with third generation corn dolly weavers in Poland and master thatchers in Devon.

Our upcoming food-based group show, Hot Sausage and Mustard, features 5 of our most revered artists working with food in Scotland today.
GPS co-founder met Ieva Grigelionyte aka while on residency at in 2021 and was treated to one of the most memorable culinary experiences that featured, among a host of other sensory-bending delights, ice cream flavoured like the library.
Her exquisitely presented works display a sculptural quality befitting of the loftiest tables and we hope you will join us to experience her work for yourself.
Having Ieva (Yeah-vah) as part of this exhibition means that mystery awaits, we can’t wait to see what turns up at the space!.

We’re chuffed to have .blasinska with us right now testing out our big new doors and working on a new project that’s been a long time in the making.
Primarily a painter, Magda is developing her recent experience with traditional thatchers to create a series of sculptures using wheat.
Looking forward to seeing how things develop, something’s is happening!
