We have another jam packed week this week and we are topping it off with a Steampunk extravaganza!

Our annual Steampunk invasion returns this Saturday 6th June from 11am to 4pm. Entry is £5pp (free for under 16's), cash or card payment on the gate. Join us for a whole host of fun, games, magic, music, dancing and more!

Also this week, Lean to Knit is on Thursday 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Come and learn the basics in this friendly free group in the Dalby House Café.

EyUp Mums is our social group for mums with babies under 12 months, they meet in the café from 11am to 1.30pm on Fridays for a cuppa and a chat, new mums very welcome to come and join us!

Our Social Stitch group are taking the week off this week due to Steampunk but they will return on Saturday 20th June.

This weeks opening hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am to 4pm. The Dalby House Café and Stables Bookshop are open during these times. We look forward to seeing you soon ☕🖼🏛

🌞 What a week it’s been at Erewash Museum as we kicked off our beach opening! 🏖️
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the most of all the fantastic activities on offer – it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces.
👏 Shoutout to our amazing volunteers who kept the café running smoothly all week – we couldn’t have done it without you!
☀️ And of course, a big thank you to the sunshine for sticking around and making it even more special.

Steampunk returns to Erewash Museum next week!

Join us for our annual Victorian Steampunk Invasion. Enjoy a whole host of entertainment including a T&V magic show, tea duelling and much more. Market stalls will be on site selling Steampunk fashion and accessories.

SATURDAY 6th JUNE 11am to 4pm
Entry £5 (under 16's free with accompanying adult). Pay on day with cash or card.

This is what our social stitch group get up to!
Each year they create a new master piece and this year it's bees! Our group lead is Norma who bring the idea to life with the help of many other volunteers. They have created over 350 individual bees which are on display all over the museum grounds.

Come along and pick your favourite!

We can't wait to open the Beach Hut next week! Get your cold drinks, ice-creams and children's lunch boxes without having to leave the garden or beach! Cash and card payments taken☀🍦🥤🌴⛱😎

It's a jam packed week next week and the beach will be open, the sun will be shining and we can't wait to welcome you. We will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am to 4pm. Entry is free.
