Join us for a family music session, Spiky Singing with a Side of Silliness on Tuesday 26 May at Leeds City Museum.

Singer-songwriter Nicky Bray will be teaching us silly songs all about creatures with spikes, including a new one called 'No Spiky No Likey'! Maybe we'll even invent some songs of our own about the animals we see in the museum...

Creative Music Day next Thursday 14 May for Home Ed Families! Let's takeover the museum with our drumming, dance moves, and a soundtrack of Leeds music. Learn together in musician-led workshops, and spend time in our Music Leeds Us exhibition. £8 per child, £5 for sibling tickets, adults free.
Suggested ages 7-14 years.

👩‍🎨 Join us for a celebration of all-things printmaking! 👩‍🎨

At the Great Leeds Print Fair at Leeds City Museum, expect creatives selling prints, zines, books and more, working in a variety of disciplines such as lino, risograph, screen-printing, letterpress, book binding and much more.

Studio Greenly is a planet-friendly collective of freelancers who have been hosting events in Leeds and Bradford for the past three years including markets, exhibitions and networking events.

Calling all home education families! Leeds City Museum is hosting a full day of learning, music-making, and dancing! 🎶

Join us for a jam packed with activity day, including dance workshops with professional dancers and drum workshops with local musicians! The day will also include time to explore the Music Leeds Us exhibition, and will all be soundtracked by live piano music! 🥁

Children aged 5+, bring your own picnic or visit the Herbarium cafe for lunch.

🪘🎤🎼Special Event Day for HOME EDUCATOR FAMILIES! Thursday 14 May. Together as a family, get creative with musician-led workshops. Get energised by making rhythms on djembe drums. Watch break dance demos, try out some dance techniques and learn about hip hop culture. It's an inclusive event, with live piano music in one of the picnic areas (quieter area also available). £8 per child (£5 ticket for additional for siblings). Adults are free. Suggested age range 5+
There'll be time built into the day to explore the Music Leeds Us special exhibition to find out about Leeds' diverse music scene. The day is for beginners and budding musicians alike.
