This weekend, 20 and 21June, bring your dancing shoes to our 1940s weekend!

Dance on the lawn or simply sit back and listen to our live performers Marina May or Luka Watabe who will take you through the songs of the era. Fun for all ages ✨

For six glittering weeks, Lotherton becomes somewhere else entirely. The Hall in its Edwardian finery. The gardens lit end to end. A walk through Captain's Wood where the much-loved 12 Days of Christmas returns! And a path that leads, if you follow it carefully, all the way to the North Pole where Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves await!

A much-loved returning favourite. We are excited to be working with the original creators to bring back an even better, bigger version of this popular walk.

🎅Want to visit Santa?
Inside the snow filled North Pole we have two options for meeting the main man!

🎅🤶 Santa's North Pole.
A journey through the snow filled paths that leads deep into the North Pole. Join the elves, decorate gingerbread with Mrs Claus and finally meet Santa in his cosy home for a special visit and a little gift to take home. Available on evenings, weekends and school holidays.

🎅 Santa's Cabin.
For the very smallest visitors, there's something gentler. Perfect for preschoolers and those first time visits. Available on week days during the day.

We’re introducing relaxed mornings at Lotherton, dedicated sessions designed for neurodivergent visitors and anyone who prefers a calmer, quieter experience.

Lotherton is for everyone, but we know weekends and events can sometimes feel busy and overwhelming. That’s why, on the 9th of every month from 9am to 10am, we’ll be opening early for a more relaxed visit.

During this time, you can explore Wildlife World Zoo and the House without the crowds.

Tickets will be limited, and loud or flashing interactives will be kept to a minimum (though our animals may still be a little noisy!) 🦩

There’s no extra cost, but tickets must be booked with general admission or a membership.

We were delighted to have so many volunteers helping to prepare and plant our large four-quarter beds recently!

Together, we planted beautiful French marigolds and Dahlia ‘Fire Ball’, bringing even more colour and life to the space for everyone to enjoy 🌼

Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and we simply couldn’t achieve so much without their enthusiasm, hard work, and support. A huge thank you to each and every one of you – your contribution makes a real difference to our community.
