BEARING: The Next Chapter of the Resilient Artist Cohort

We’re so proud to share the next step in the Resilient Artist Cohort’s journey: BEARING, an exhibition celebrating the courage, creativity, and growth of six incredible Leeds-based artists.

After the first exhibition GESTURES, these artists have continued to explore, experiment, and develop their practices, and BEARING shows just how far they’ve come. Each piece carries its own story, from intimate gestures and layered marks to bold, expressive statements, reflecting both personal journeys and collective exploration.

This is a moment to celebrate process as much as outcome, and we couldn’t be prouder of the resilience, curiosity, and commitment each artist has brought to the cohort.

📅 Save the date: 10th April (6:30pm - 9pm)
📍 Venue: Bramley, LS13 4EP

Pop it in your diary and come see the results of a year of collaboration, experimentation, and inspiration.

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the generous funding and support from the Leeds Cultural Investment Programme.

A big thank you to Cllr Tom Hinchcliffe for coming along to support Paul Abraham and the Friends of Photography at the Gallery. It means a great deal to see our local community championing the arts.

The exhibition runs until 27th March, do pop in for a visit!

📸 Pleased to support local resident Paul Abraham and the Friends of Photography group at their excellent exhibition at the Mill Gallery in Stanningley.

The exhibition is thought provoking, creative and well worth a visit. It’s open until 27th March.
