This May half-term, join us for Tunnellers’ Tales — a hands-on family activity inspired by our new exhibition Groundbreakers. Explore the tools, smells, dangers and discoveries of the Thames Tunnel through interactive object handling and storytelling.

🌳 Discover Trees Walk at Brunel Museum 🌳

Join us for a guided walk exploring the wide variety of trees around Rotherhithe and Southwark Park.

Starting and ending at Brunel Museum, this relaxed walk uncovers stories behind the area’s trees from hidden green corners to well-loved local landmarks, including the striking monkey puzzle tree and other surprising species rooted in the local landscape.

Along the way, we’ll explore how trees shape the history, ecology, and character of this riverside neighbourhood.

A chance to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with nature in the city.

Expect vibrant Cotswold Morris, traditional folk rhythms, high energy performances, and plenty of audience participation - a joyful celebration of the season.

After you’ve worked up a thirst, enjoy a drink in our beautiful roof garden, or explore the new Groundbreakers display between dances.
