Take a walk with Fiona Millais and watch her work in the studio in the run up to her current exhibition at Cornwall Contemporary in Penzance.
Fiona is the great granddaughter of the Pre-Raphaelite painter Sir John Everett Millais and she also comes from a long line of family members who have worked on the land so it’s no surprise that she feels a deep affinity for landscape painting.

Saul Cathcart with some of his paintings in our current show which comes to a close at the end of April. This exhibition has been so well received with many people saying how joyful and unique Saul’s paintings are. If you can’t pop in by the end of the month, you can view all of the works on our website by Saul, who is exhibiting alongside Alasdair Lindsay and Craig Underhill and don’t forget we have a wonderful show of Cornelia O’Donovan’s paintings in our attic gallery too.

Thanks to all of you who have viewed our film interview with Alasdair Lindsay and for your wonderful feedback, I’m delighted that so many of you have enjoyed it. It’s always slightly strange interviewing a friend who you have worked with for nearly thirty years … I have been so privileged to be in the position of working alongside talented artists such as Al and to see his career flourish - I can’t believe that he still has the letter I wrote to him 27 years ago when he graduated from Falmouth School of Art inviting him to exhibit!

You can see the film in full on our YouTube channel where you’ll also find films of Craig Underhill and Saul Cathcart and many of our other artists.

We have sold 19 of Craig Underhill’s fantastic stoneware vessels already from our new exhibition and they will be shipped as far and wide to Singapore, Australia, USA and Germany at the end of the show. Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm for Craig’s work - he really pushes the boundaries of what can be achieved in clay and he is so inspiring - he really is a master of his craft.
We still have a few works of his remaining which you can see in the gallery until the end of April and you can also view everything on our website.
