Exhibitions at Cornwall Contemporary change monthly and present the very best of art in Cornwall and from out of the county. Established and highly respected artists exhibit alongside some of the most exciting up–and–coming art school graduates and artists from around Britain and as far afield as Norway. Regular exhibiting artists include Neil Pinkett, Daphne McClure, Emma Dunbar, Antonio Lopez Reche, Alasdair Lindsay, Maggie Matthews, David Mankin, Kristin Vestgard, Melanie Goemans, Emma McClure, Fiona Millais, Philip Lyons, Paul Lewin and Janet Lynch amongst others.

SAVE THE DATE!

SATURDAY 20th JUNE 11am - 1pm

I’m very excited to invite you all to the opening of our newly renovated basement gallery. This space is dedicated to showcasing sculpture and ceramics and works of art that can sometimes get overlooked. I have shown sculptural works for the last 20 years in the main gallery and I’m now thrilled to add a fourth floor specifically with these works of art in mind.

This wouldn’t be possible without BID Penzance and our brilliant building team - more on that later. I really hope to see you all at the opening of this wonderful new space which will also be the artist reception for our brilliant new Neil Pinkett exhibition Following the Light.

Take a walk with Fiona Millais and watch her work in the studio in the run up to her current exhibition at Cornwall Contemporary in Penzance.
Fiona is the great granddaughter of the Pre-Raphaelite painter Sir John Everett Millais and she also comes from a long line of family members who have worked on the land so it’s no surprise that she feels a deep affinity for landscape painting.
