We are currently rehanging for the upcoming David Rust Retrospective Exhibition starting 10am on Saturday 20th June. The gallery is closed during Thursday and Friday but you can still purchase online or call if you need something urgently.
The exhibition will run from Saturday 20th June until Saturday 4th July.

Following David’s passing in July 2025, this collection feels particularly special. It serves as a tribute to a man who spent his life looking at the world with wonder and he shared that vision with all of us. While he is greatly missed, his spirit lives on through these vibrant pieces, and we are honoured to share his final legacy with you here.

Lindsey Walsh's ceramic pieces are crafted using a range of expert techniques. The processes employed are truly fascinating. First the decoration is meticulously incised into the 'leather hard' clay surface. Following a biscuit firing, colour is applied using various pigments, glazes, and metallic oxides. A subsequent low-temperature 'Raku' firing then takes place. This technique yields purely decorative ceramics, where pieces are rapidly heated before being removed from the kiln while still red hot and placed in combustible material to cool. The combination of fire and smoke produces unpredictable, vibrant, and entirely unique results.
