Now sited in new premises at Westcotts Quay St Ives offering Art and craft courses, workshops, Exhibitions, gallery and shop in St Ives.

Drop in and paint your own mini canvas using our St Ives-inspired ideas, or simply create whatever inspires you. Work at your own pace and make it your own. We provide an A5 canvas, acrylic paints & aprons. Suitable For adults & accompanied children aged 5 plus

Join us for drinks reception on Saturday 3 October, 4 - 7 pm - for the opening of our new Exhibition. Featuring abstract drawings, and on the opening night ambient film and music by Pete Giles - with paintings by Zoe Eaton artwork The exhibition continues until 8 November.

We are inviting submissions for our Winter Open Call exhibition, PAPER (14 Nov - 8 JAN 27)— celebrating contemporary artworks on paper and made from paper. Eligible media include drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, collage, artists books, 3D paper sculpture, and papier‑mâché. Held in our new gallery space, in the centre of St Ives, Cornwall. We ran the first indoor workshops this week in our new home on Tregenna Place, as part of St Ives September Festival. Abstract Drawing with Pete Giles and Intuitive Abstract Painting Workshop with Zoe Eaton artwork. A fabulous creative buzz bought by all who joined.

Drop by for the Festival Open Studios - Pete will be on hand to talk about his drawing practice, the ambient music he composes and ambient films. There is a special laptop screening showing during the open studio times.

St Ives September Festival
Dive into a creative exploration of patterns and abstraction with artist Peter Giles. Suitable for all drawing abilities, from complete beginners to experienced artists seeking a new visual language. Peter shares his ambient, process approach to abstraction - with guided exercises and group discussion focused on shapes and lines as the basis for pattern-making , using a variety of pens, marker pens, inks and colour pencils. You’ll leave with a finished artwork on quality paper.
