The exhibition “Feedback. The Environments of Franco Vaccari” is an immersive experience unfolding across eight rooms, each revealing a different aspect of the artist’s practice.

Today, we invite you to discover Esposizione in tempo reale n. 10, Sogni n. 1 ✨

In this environment, sleeping bags, handwritten dreams, drawings, words, and sounds come together to create a space where memory, imagination, and collective experience intersect. The work was first realized in 1975 at Galleria Cavellini, where visitors were invited to sleep inside the exhibition space and share their dreams the following morning.

For Vaccari, dreams were not a symbolic or surreal realm, but a place where reality could emerge in a more authentic form.

Discover “Sweet Landscape”, the first institutional solo exhibition in Italy by Evelyn Taocheng Wang.

Through painting, writing, installation, and fashion, Wang explores identity, cultural hybridity, and the ways personal histories and cultural contexts shape our understanding of the self.

For this exhibition, the artist responds to Bolzano’s cultural landscape through new works inspired by the city’s visual and material surroundings. Blending memories, symbols, and imagined narratives, Wang creates a space where inner and outer landscapes meet, revealing different layers of meaning.

Last Thursday, Museion hosted the final event of the international book tour for Lucia Marcucci. Tutto qui?.

The evening unfolded through Tutto qui? Tutte qui, tutte chi?, a site-specific performance by Giulia Crispiani that transformed the museum into a space of collective listening, imagination, and critical reflection. Moving through the exhibition spaces, audiences experienced a poetic journey where language became action, memory intertwined with dreams, and visual poetry emerged as a living, political force.

The evening continued with a conversation moderated by Frida Carazzato (Museion) and Francesca V***a (Ar/Ge Kunst), featuring Giulia Crispiani, Annalisa Sacchi, and the graphic design studio bruno, exploring the role of language, performance, and publishing in Lucia Marcucci’s practice.

What does a city look like from just a few inches above the ground?

Challenging photography’s traditional eye-level perspective, Franco Vaccari adopted the viewpoint of a dog, lowering his camera to street level and capturing Modena from an unexpected angle. The result was Modena vista a livello di cane (Modena Seen from a Dog’s Perspective), a photographic experiment that transformed the familiar city into something curious, unfamiliar, and surprisingly revealing.

On view until June 14: “Mo num en ts” by Som Supaparinya.

Drawing from over two decades of research into Southeast Asia’s shifting landscapes, the Thai artist traces how history lingers in the land itself—carved into dams, roads, and power lines that still structure life across the Mekong region.

In “Mo num en ts”, Cold War infrastructures resurface through a layered encounter between archival footage and newly filmed material. Past and present slip into one another, revealing how modernization, memory, and ideology remain deeply entangled in the landscapes we inhabit.

On June 11 at 7:00 PM, the book tour for “Lucia Marcucci. Tutto qui?” reaches its final chapter at Museion.

The evening opens with “Tutto qui? Tutte qui, tutte chi?”, a site-specific performance by Giulia Crispiani, conceived specifically for the museum’s architecture. Moving through the exhibition spaces, the performance unfolds as an itinerant experience that combines readings, performative actions, and sound interventions, inviting collective forms of listening and fostering reflection on language, presence, and participation in dialogue with Lucia Marcucci’s artistic practice.

The program continues with a public conversation featuring Giulia Crispiani, Annalisa Sacchi, and the graphic design studio bruno (Andrea Codolo and Giacomo Covacich), moderated by Frida Carazzato (Museion) and Francesca V***a (Ar/Ge Kunst). Drawing on Sacchi’s essay included in the volume, the discussion will explore the role of performance and language in Marcucci’s work and their resonance in contemporary artistic practices. It will also offer insights into the book’s editorial design process and the translation of an artistic legacy into book form.
