It’s a great way to kick off the weekend with friends or add a memorable experience to your Asheville vacation. Our Saturday Spooncarving class is full but there are still spots available for Thursday March 19, 5-7:30pm! You can register by emailing us with your first and last name and phone number. These are our very first offerings but we’ll have more classes on the horizon for spring! Are there any woodworking skills you’ve been eager to learn??

🎊March Spooncarving Classes🎊

We are starting Beginning Spooncarving classes at Foundation Woodworks and the very first one is THIS Saturday, March 14 from 10am-12:30pm! We have a few spots left for Saturday and 8 spots left for our Thursday, March 19th class from 5pm-7:30pm. No materials necessary, pre-registration required, details below ⬇️

*Learn beginning Spooncarving techniques using hand tools and leave with your very own hardwood spoon
*Saturday 3/14, 10am-12:30pm

Thursday 3/19, 5pm-7:30pm
*17 Foundy Street Ste 10 (our original building pictured in previous post!)
*$75 per participant

A million thanks to all who came to celebrate with us on Saturday!! 17 months we’ve looked forward to this day, when we could finally open our doors again for a big party. Hundreds of people got us to this point, and hundreds showed up last night: new and old friends, artists, locals, intrigued passersby, and lots of dogs 🐶 Thank you for bringing the love, joy, and support. We’re so excited for what this year holds for all the artists at Foundation Woodworks and this amazing arts community we’re proud to call home.

🎊THIS SATURDAY FEB 28!! 🎊Come celebrate with us at our Grand Reopening Party at 17 Foundy Street! Woodturning demos, music, raffle, shop tours, and lots of new art. Visitors on Saturday will also have first dibs on signing up for March classes! 👀 We hope you’ll join us and meet some woodworkers, enjoy the rebuilt gallery and shop, and support local artists! 🥳

After two weekends of ice and snow we are OPEN Friday and Saturday 11am-5pm and Sunday 12-5pm at our original address, 17 Foundy Street! Come see the newly built checkout counter and lots of new work from local woodworkers. We will be expanding hours and having a ✨GRAND REOPENING✨ party coming up the end of February so stay tuned….
