Don't miss the one-year anniversary of Q***r Stitch Night this month! Join fiber artist, educator, and researcher Isabel Sperry (she/her) for an evening of crafting on Wednesday, June 10th, from 6-8 PM at Ge**er/Hart!

Whether you are an experienced fiber artist or are looking to start your first project, you are welcome at this free community event! No worries! Bring a sketch book, a laptop to write on, or a novel to read and enjoy this community space.

Supplies are not provided, but we will have a limited number of collage materials, scissors, glue, markers, etc. available. Hope to see you on Wednesday, June 10th. We will be located at 6500 N. Clark St., on the second floor, across the hall from the elevator. See the library front desk if you have trouble finding us! ***rstitchnight

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: After Anna is diagnosed with the fatal disease, ATD or Acquired Toilet Disease, she departs on a vacation overseas with her brother Carl and his stuffed rabbit. They are quickly drawn into an absurd Third Man-esque caper across Europe in search of a cure, pleasure, and acceptance. Written by renowned q***r playwright Paula Vogel after her brother Carl died from complications of AIDS, this play is about the worlds we invent to outrun grief.

🏳️‍🌈 We know your calendar is full of Pride celebrations already, so why not take a beat and join the Ace Book Club on June 20th from 1-2 PM in the Ge**er/Hart Library Community Room!

Our Pride Month meeting will be discussing Michael Paramo’s Ending the Pursuit: As*xuality, Aromanticism, & Agender Identity.

This blend of memoir and poetry, online articles and discussions, traces the emergence of online communities to the Victorian binaries that still restrict us today and gives a voice to an often-misunderstood community.

The Ace Book Club, a collaboration between AforAce and Ge**er/Hart Library and Archives, is a welcoming space for aces, allos, and allies to explore the diverse world of as*xuality through literature.

Join us in person or virtually on June 20!! We can’t wait to see you.

Tomorrow! You don't want to miss a one-night-only, 18+ event featuring an aural art installation exploring q***r debauchery.

Exhibitionism by Clover Tipton is an aural exhibit, a tape recorder for participants at q***r s*x parties and public cruising events. They were given the prompt “talk about your debauchery” and this installation is a result of those recordings. The talkback with the artist Clover, hosted by Chijioke Williams, will begin at 7pm and dive into audio, desire, ephemerality, and denial.

We can't wait to connect and enjoy the visual stimulation provided by , the aural titillation provided by Clover Tipton, and a fantastic panel hosted by Chijioke Williams!

Talkback questions are encouraged to be submitted beforehand, as time will be limited. Please utilize the anonymous form on our event page and get your tickets for the show in the comments below! ***rHistory ***rarchives
