CALL FOR ARTISTS! . Share, Comparte!

AponteArt Gallery is now accepting submissions for PARAÍSOS: Another Side of Latin American Art, a group exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

We’re announcing this call early to give artists plenty of time to plan their submissions. Whether you’re working on something new or selecting from your current body of work, we invite you to share artwork that reflects your unique voice and creative vision.

Our goal is to bring together as many artists as possible in a vibrant celebration of Latin American art, culture, identity, and imagination.

📅 Submission Deadline: August 25, 2026
Recent works only. Submitted artwork must have been created within the last two years (2024–2026).

We look forward to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with you! ❤️

Participation fee: $25 upon acceptance.

🌿The Guardian of El Yunque 🌿

Inspired by the spirit, mystery, and enduring strength of Puerto Rico's rainforest, The Guardian of El Yunque is the latest addition to my ongoing Guardians of Borinquen series.

This collection has become a journey of honoring our island's landscapes, history, culture, and ancestral roots through portraiture and symbolism.

I have now completed 10 pieces in the series, with more works in the making. My goal is to present approximately 20 new paintings in a special solo exhibition. Date TBA.

For those who have been following my journey, I'm excited to share that all works in the Guardians of Borinquen collection will be available for acquisition during the exhibition🇵🇷
