We had a great convo with Chef Mary, founder of Geisha Girls Detroit. We are so excited to bring her innovative take on sushi infused with Japanese and Black southern soul food techniques. Mary’s parents met in Japan when her father was deployed in the military. She grew up knowing the power of the geisha girl, and the soul of Westside Detroit.

Join us for tacos with Mary Stallworth - October 13th from 2-6pm at TDE’s new location in SW Detroit 🌊

Our first Wednesday at TDE was a success!

Not only did we have a great convo with the founder of Mary Stallworth, but we also received such amazing assistance from our talented friends Raphique and Maryanna Cavazos. They showed up and jumped in without prompting! It was such a vibe. Without yall, this incredible conversation with Chef Mary would not have been captured so well. We had a whole production going on! 🤩

It’s such a beautiful thing to witness creatives come together at TDE and do exactly what the space is intended for - to create and collaborate. Together, visions truly become reality.

Thank you to all of you that stopped in for coworking, convo, a random live DJ set, laughter, and tossing around ideas. If this is our first Wednesday at TDE, I look forward to all the other Wednesdays where we come for a latte, stay for connection, and leave feeling encouraged.

TDE is reflection of you. A place for us to dream and do - letting our thoughts flow into collective action ❤️‍🔥

Gratitude ✨
