Dustin ⛓

Dustin, hailing from Livonia, MI, is a regular at Cass Benton and Kensington Black Locust disc golf courses. His journey into the sport began in 2015 while playing ultimate Frisbee, and after being invited to a round, he was hooked and started playing consistently in 2016. When he's not competing, you can find him practicing diligently, both at home and on the course. Having competed in various sports, disc golf has truly captured his heart, and he envisions himself playing it for life. Camp Kearney DGC in Illinois holds a special place in his heart as his favorite course. He has a particular fondness for Buzzz discs, regardless of the mold. As for his go-to drivers, he often chooses between a Discraft Hades and a TeeBird3.

Tyler's passion for disc golf stems from its unique blend of teamwork and individual challenge. He values the strong community it fosters, finding joy in shared rounds. His journey began as a way to cope and find enjoyment after his grandmother's illness, leading to a deep devotion to the sport. Currently, Tyler serves as captain of the Flight Xperts Team and contributes to Garvey Rd's apparel design.

Meet Robbie Riddle, a dedicated member of the disc golf community since approximately 2012-2013! Initially drawn to the sport as a fun way to socialize with friends, disc golf has blossomed into a treasured personal escape for him. Among the many discs he throws, the Scorch holds a special place in his heart as his absolute favorite. When it comes to his preferred courses, Robbie expresses a strong affinity for Independence Lake, but in just sheer number of rounds played, he often finds himself at either Palmer Park in Detroit, MI, or Firefighters in Troy, MI. Robbie is also one of the current Captains on the Flight Xperts Team.

Damien started playing Disc Golf in 2023 and has been hooked ever since. He plays hundreds of rounds every year, throwing mainly Backhand and putting with Lunas. His go-to disc is a Zone, and on those long drives, he reaches for his Crank! He's from Auburn Hills, MI, and a regular at Seymour Lake Disc Golf Course. Damien is a Flight Xperts Captain and the driving force behind Mando Bros. DGC, a welcoming Disc Golf Club in the Detroit area for beginners and new players.

Meet the Team: Steve Cumbee #268283

Steve began playing disc golf in the late 1990s. He participated weekly with friends on Sundays and in the firefighters' disc golf league on Mondays for several years. In 2018, Steve was the victim of a brutal assault, resulting in a three-week coma. For the subsequent four years, he experienced a loss of taste, smell, and balance, along with an unhealthy increase in weight. Through reflection and determination, Steve modified his diet and began losing weight. Nevertheless, remaining unsatisfied, he turned to disc golf. He initially utilized a cart as a mobility aid, which facilitated weight loss and the recovery of his balance. After some time, he started competing, where he met Damien Sanchez, and they quickly began playing together. Sharing a common vision, he assisted Damien in establishing the Mando Bros. Disc Golf Club, which provides a welcoming environment for new participants in the sport.

Steve is also a Flight Xperts Captain and helps build the team's disc golf schedule each month.
