Highlight: Kelsey Bailey

Hey everyone, I'm Kelsey Bailey! I'm 26 years old, I'm majoring in a Illustration, and I'm a transfer student from Bay City, Michigan. As well as working as one of the student managers at U245, I also work in the box office at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra!

In my free time, I typically draw and paint for fun, but I also love video games, reading, writing, going for walks, bike riding, and am a hobbyist photographer!

I love to draw things inspired by nature. I love drawing animals, plants, trees, flowers, and naturescapes. Since I've moved to Detroit, I've discovered I also love drawing cool and interesting buildings! You'll often see me taking pictures of things that aren't necessarily noteworthy, but I love seeing inspiration and creativity in everyday life.

Hello to our wonderful followers! We hope you are all doing well during this time. While we're sad we can't share the art of CCS students with you directly, we hope we can use this opportunity to share student work visa social media!

We're introducing the Stay-At-Home Instagram Show, a digital show dedicated to showcasing artwork and artists on Instagram and across our social media! We hope to open our account to all CCS students and come together to showcase our fantastic student body!

To submit, you'll need a few things: • An image of yourself (can be drawn or stylized if you'd like!)
• 3 - 8 photos of work you have created
• A short bio about yourself, your work process, what you like to do outside of school, etc. This is about getting to know our student body, so don't be shy in sharing about yourself!
• your Instagram tag so people can follow you! (Optional)

If you'd like a guideline, our student managers Kelsey () and Maya () will be sharing their highlights first! Stay tuned!

To submit, you must be a currently enrolled CCS student. Any year or major is welcome! Please DM our Instagram account, or email your info to [email protected] if you are interested!
