Liberty Gala Medal
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Embassy Suites, 4760 Lake Valley Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28303. A special formal event was hosted by Phoenix Lodge No. 8 on behalf of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina, celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
They honored the Grand Master, Most Worshipful Steve Norris, along with civic leaders, military representatives, community partners, Masonic leadership, and guests from across the region.
Their keynote speaker for the evening was Worshipful Brother Chris Ruli, 32o KCCH, Director, Museum, Library, and Archives for the Supreme Council, 33°, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, S.J., a respected historian and author whose work explores how fraternalism has shaped American politics, economics, and culture.
